Shenzhou-19 astronauts complete third spacewalk

According to the China National Space Administration (CNSA), the third extravehicular activity (EVA) of the Shenzhou-19 (神舟十九) mission was completed on 21 March 2025, at 12:50 UTC (20:50 China Standard Time). During the ~7 hours spacewalk, astronauts Cai Xuzhe (蔡旭哲, commander) and Song Lingdong (宋令东) completed multiple tasks, including the installation of space debris protection devices and extravehicular auxiliary facilities, as well as extravehicular equipment inspection. Astronaut Wang Haoze (王浩泽) assisted them from inside the Tianhe Core Module (天和核心舱) by operating the robotic arm of the China Space Station (中国空间站).

The China National Space Administration (CNSA) announced the crew for the Shenzhou-20 mission: Chen Dong (陈冬, commander), Chen Zhong Rui (陈中瑞) and Wang Jie (王杰)The Long March-2F Y20 (征二号F遥二十) launch vehicle will launch the Shenzhou-20 (神舟二十) crew spacecraft from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 24 April 2025, at 09:17 UTC (17:17 China Standard Time). Shenzhou-20 will transport the ninth crew of three astronauts to the China Space Station (中国空间站).

The Shenzhou-19 spacecraft is expected to make a parachute-assisted landing at the Dongfeng landing site, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, China, returning the eighth crew of three astronauts on a mission to the China Space Station (中国空间站): Cai Xuzhe (蔡旭哲, commander), Song Lingdong (宋令东) and Wang Haoze (王浩泽).
