The first launch of the Tianlong-2 launch vehicle

The Tianlong-2 launch vehicle (天龙二号遥一, Tianlong-2 Y1) was successfully launched for the first time from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center, Gansu Province, China, on 2 April 2023, at 08:48 UTC (16:48 local time). Tianlong-2 is a three-stage liquid-propellant (kerosene/liquid oxygen) launch vehicle developed by Beijing Tianbing Technology Co., Ltd., also known as Space Pioneer. According to Space Pioneer Tianlong-2 Y1 sent the “Love Space Science” remote sensing satellite into a 500-kilometre Solar-synchronous orbit.

Tianlong-3 hot-fire test anomaly

According to Space Pioneer (天兵科技, Beijing Tianbing Technology Co., Ltd), a hot fire test of the Tianlong-3 (天龙三) launch vehicle was conducted at the “Comprehensive Test Center” near Gongyi City, Henan Province, China, on 30 June 2024, at 07:43 UTC (15:43 local time).
