LEGO MINDSTORMS hexapod robot walks and turns with a single motor

This LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT hexapod robot can walk and turn using just one motor!This kind of underactuation is possible thanks to a slipping clutch mechanism that transmits the rotation only in one direction.

This six legged robot can avoid obstacles, by detecting them with the ultrasonic sensor. It was built using a single LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT 2.0 set.
